LeBron James ready to go against the Mavs on Christmas Day

The top superstar of the LA Lakers, LeBron James, claims that the left ankle injury should be sufficiently healed for the Lakers Christmas Day matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers’ main attraction was quoted saying that he will be “ready to go” come Christmas Day, despite several hoops watchdogs claiming earlier that James won’t be healed enough for the game Friday.

LeBron has had a slow start, after the shortest break between NBA seasons in history of the league, shooting just 7 for 17 in the season opener earlier against local rival Clippers, losing the game and rolling his ankle in the process. James is a much needed chess piece against the Mavericks on Christmas Day, and Lakers fans are sure the rejoice if he indeed makes it to full health.

Even if you are not fans of the LA Lakers, impossible to imagine for any reader of LakersHoops.com, LeBron has been the crown jewel of the Christmas Day basketball bonanza over nearly two decades, and we would love to see this streak continue in 2020, as well.

The Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Lakers game will start at 8ET on Christmas Day, and fans can catch it on ABC and ESPN.
